Well Activity Program

A robust Well Activity Program is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective execution of various well activities, spanning from basic wireline operations to intricate well construction tasks.

Encompassing all stages of activity, from rigs stationed on-site to mobile drilling units and rigs undergoing mobilization preparations, our programs meticulously outline plans for conducting drilling operations and gathering crucial formation data from the well.

By adhering to these comprehensive programs, we ensure optimal performance and mitigate risks associated with well activities, ultimately contributing to the success of drilling endeavors.

In line with the NORSOK D-010, 4.7.1 General standard, a Well Activity program shall be issued prior to commencement of drilling activities, formation testing activities, completion activities, well intervention operations, suspension and abandonment activities.

To ensure the seamless management of the entire process, it is imperative to appoint a multidisciplinary team comprising exceptionally competent individuals. This team will oversee and coordinate every aspect of the operation, ensuring its smooth execution from start to finish.

Central to this endeavor is the collection of relevant materials essential for informed decision-making and effective planning. These materials encompass a wide array of critical data, including offset and location-specific well information, geopressure prognoses, sub-surface data requirements, rig specifications, and organizational prerequisites.

In addition to gathering essential data, it is essential to facilitate collaborative workshops aimed at fostering comprehensive understanding and proactive risk management. These workshops, which may include kick-off meetings and risk and HAZOP assessments, serve as invaluable platforms for brainstorming, strategizing, and aligning objectives.

Moreover, the exploration of alternative methods and solutions is integral to the process, ensuring adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges. By considering various approaches, the team can identify optimal strategies that best suit the project’s unique needs and objectives.

Throughout the process, close dialogue with the client is maintained to ensure alignment with their goals and preferences. This collaborative approach ensures that all aspects of the operation are tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements and expectations, ultimately fostering a successful and mutually beneficial partnership.
