The Challenge

AGR were awarded the contract for a major multi-well decommissioning campaign offshore Ireland required a full Well Management project team, capable of delivering complex and challenging large-scale well abandonment operations.

AGR resourced and engaged the team for both the onshore planning and engineering and the decommissioning of 14 platform wells across two platforms and 10 subsea wells in a three-phase campaign. Our remit included the abandonment design, engineering, supply chain, regulatory compliance, planning and execution of the wells.

  • Previously utilised consultants (Repeat): a high number of repeat placement candidates have worked on several projects for AGR both internally and externally. The repeat placement of these candidates ensures continuity in our operations.
  • Active list of Available consultants: AGR has an active list of more than 1200 Contractors globally that are assessed against upcoming work requirements and selected based on their specific expertise of the assignment.
  • Search and Selection Campaign: AGR Consultancy Services has a bespoke, global, real-time database developed over many years which holds over 7000 consultants that we would utilise to search and select for those that meet the skills, experience, location and availability requirements required to deliver the project(s).
