Highest levels of safety
In 2023, AGR and Add Energy‘s Well Management & Well Engineering teams joined forces. With combined operational expertise spanning over 70 years, we have created a knowledge heavy partner for our clients around the globe.
Our comprehensive Safety Case development plan is meticulously crafted to align with the Client’s schedule, incorporating ample time for Safety Case development, Client feedback, and regulator review and acceptance.
Drawing from design specifications, drawings, manuals, and surveys, our team, comprising engineers adept at extracting relevant information, produce concise Facility Descriptions.
Facilitating HAZID and ALARP workshops, we provide pre-populated worksheets based on our extensive experience with similar facilities. Leveraging assumptions, agreed input data, proprietary software, and in-house specialist tools, we conduct various FSA studies (FERA, NFHA, ESSA TRIA, SGIA, EERA, QRA).
Furthermore, we compile ALARP demonstration arguments, integrating key design decisions, workshop outcomes, FSA studies, and brainstormed risk reduction measures. Our expertise extends to crafting Company Safety Management System (SMS) descriptions that meticulously address regulatory requirements.
Before submission, we conduct thorough checks to ensure alignment with regulations. Additionally, we support the Client in addressing regulator queries and updating the Safety Case as needed.
As part of the Safety Case process, defining Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and their associated Performance Standards is essential. We excel in crafting comprehensive Performance Standards customized for each operator or facility, prioritizing functionality, reliability/availability, and survivability requirements for each SCE.
Clients can expect to receive written Verification Schemes outlining how the Performance Standards will be achieved and how the performance of SCEs will be assured. This may include methods such as performance testing, Quality Assurance (QA) checks, inspections, and routine maintenance.
Our experts perform safety surveys and audits to highlight any major safety concerns prior to committing to a Safety Case. This is normally performed in conjunction with a gap assessment against the latest Codes, Standards and Legislation. We also conduct surveys/audits to confirm compliance with the Safety Case and hazard register.
