Reservoir Engineering

Reservoir engineering is a key discipline in understanding, analysing and predicting dynamic reservoir performance. Our scientists who work in this area focus on the physics of fluid flow in complex geological formations, with their findings vitally important to the recovery of oil and gas, hydrology, geothermalCOand other fluids.

Through traditional reservoir engineering techniques and state of the art reservoir engineering tools and technologies, clients receive an innovative and proven service delivered by experts.

Working right across the energy and storage fields

AGR has performed a wide range of reservoir projects – from simple calculations to complex multiphase simulation model studies evaluating prospects, field developments, increased oil recovery (IOR) and storage.

Our experience in reservoir simulation covers black oil, compositional, thermal, chemical injection and streamline simulation for use in oil and gas, IOR/EOR and COinjection for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

The skills our teams bring to the table can also be applied to other processes involving underground fluid an or heat flow, such as geothermal.

Clients also benefit from the breadth of skills that our specialists possess. They are capable of working with a number of industry standard simulation packages and can even convert models from one package to another.

Additionally, AGR experts are used to working closely with geoscientists, to create a fully integrated and suitable geological model before populating it with static and dynamic properties, history matching fields and running relevant sensitivities on field and or well predictions.

Rigorous quality control and compliance processes

All our projects follow AGR’s own certified delivery process, which is our rigorously applied quality assurance blueprint that ensures a systematic approach to every assignment. It offers our clients fully transparent, measurable results, ensuring excellent communication and creating collaboration opportunities.

When choosing AGR, clients not only receive access to highly qualified and experienced professionals but also access to key data and insight, which offers valuable learning to projects and can accelerate problem solving
