Position: Consultancy Advisor
Job Location: Stavanger
Joined AGR: 2021
Hobbies: Spending time with my family and friends, travelling and enjoying cuisine
What does your average day look like?
I begin my mornings by waking my family, ensuring a smooth departure for everyone before commuting to work, preferably on foot when the weather permits. It’s a delightful start to the day!
At work, we assist our consultants with various issues, ranging from minor to major concerns. We engage in recruitment meetings with the team and may conduct interviews with potential candidates. Some days are filled with consultant lunches or coffee sessions. Post-lunch, we gather with the rest of the office for a coffee break, fostering camaraderie and catching up on recent happenings.
The hours after lunch tend to pass quickly, and soon it’s time to head home. I prepare dinner before shuttling the kids to their dance and soccer matches. I find great joy in winding down a busy day on the couch, enjoying a good show or a movie.
Tell us a bit about your career development at AGR
When I first joined AGR in 2021 as a Consultancy Researcher, my tasks included spending considerable time to sourcing new candidates, conducting interviews with potential consultants, and immersing myself in understanding AGR’s operations. Over time, I transitioned into the role of Consultancy Advisor where my role covers finding the best suitable expert resources for our clients’ projects.
I consider myself fortunate to serve as a member of our Work Environment Committee and fulfill the role of one of the safety representatives. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in assisting AGR’ s Manager of HR & HSEQ, with HSE-related activities. Anticipating each workday, I eagerly look forward to contributing to the dynamic environment at AGR.
What did you do before joining AGR?
Prior to joining AGR, my professional role was as a Project Coordinator at a firm dealing with branding and profiling. In that capacity, our team assisted clients in the process of producing and delivering customized items adorned with logos.
What does AGR do to enable your professional advancement and work-life balance?
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance has been a priority for me, particularly since becoming a parent to two children. AGR stands out as an employer that values flexibility and provides crucial support, ensuring that everyone’s needs are accommodated. This is essential for my overall happiness as an employee.
