Key responsibilities:

Ensure required HSE standards of the work – The work shall be executed in accordance with HSE objectives and quality requirements.

The role supports the team in managing the planning and executing activities onshore and offshore.

The role has focus on ensuring that the workover and subsea completion system delivers an integrated solution and to ensure the integrity of the systems during offshore operations.

The role includes the following tasks:

  • Engage in activities within workover control systems, open water system, SPS-tooling and equipment, and offshore execution.
  • Provide all necessary support within operations during planning and execution of subsea completions, well interventions, well installations and clean-up operations on the project to accomplish the established objectives and plans.
  • Supervise offshore operations and act as company representative within subsea activities offshore.
  • Assist with subsea competency in preparation of relevant documents e.g. DOPs, subsea completion programs and procedures, and hand over of well to Operations dept.
  • Identify and manage any deviations to specifications and industry standards.
  • Participate in SIT and SUT activities.
  • Follow-up of relevant contractors.
  • Follow up maintenance and modification of tools and equipment.
  • Support an effective risk and performance management system in the subsea completion delivery.
  • Ensure that scope is delivered in accordance with Regulatory requirements, Company requirements, and Industry standards.
  • Report in a clear, graphic, and visible way to demonstrate status of responsible scope.
  • Liase with all relevant parties to ensure involvement in key activities.
  • Ensure continuous improvement during planning and operation phase of the subsea operations.
  • Contribute to experience transfer in the well project.
  • Ensure documentation and log of all decisions of importance, including change processes documented using company electronic tools (PIMS).

Minimum-Requirements:

Education: Bachelor/ Master of Science Degree. Extensive relevant professional experience from similar positions in industry may substitute for formal background.

Subject of education: Degree within Mechanical, Civil or Petroleum or equivalent.

Relevant professional experience: Minimum 15 years project experience from similar roles in Norway, preferably minimum 10 years from oil company. Must have experience leading teams within last 5 years.

  • Proven experience from offshore work on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Proven experience with production drilling operations including clean-up to rig.
  • Proven experience installing WH- and XT-equipment – all phases. Experience with TechnipFMC NCS2017+ equipment is an advantage.
  • Experience with OneSubsea multiWOS-/multiWOCS equipment. Experience with other Open Water Systems may compensate for lack of experience with OneSubsea equipment.
  • HPHT experience.
  • Good knowledge of the latest version of mandatory rules and regulations, e.g. ISO 13628 series as well. as NORSOK U- and D-series and preferably Equinor Technical Requirements and Guidelines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel offshore.
