ABL is recruiting for a Senior Maintenance (CMMS) engineer to join its AIM team based in Aberdeen. A background in Oil & Gas would be preferred and any experience working for or closely with operators would be beneficial.

The Role
Reporting into the Lead Project Manager this role has the opportunity to focal point on various projects with a variety of clients. Offering diversity in your day-to-day workload, as well as responsibility in leading a project from planning stages to execution and delivery. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with our technical, financial and business development teams to ensure that current and future work is delivered with safety, quality and financial awareness in mind.

Roles and responsibilities
- To ensure execution of a variety of engineering, inspection and maintenance projects in both an office and site-based engineering environment
- Responsible for project deliverables and working alongside the technical team to ensure the quality of what we deliver to clients
- Maintain close working relationships with key client contacts to identify and plan upcoming projects
- Support in a variety of business development activity including client meetings, proposal support etc.
- Supporting in the growth of the business across the region through supporting country and business line managers
- Review and steer project progress reports covering planned vs. actual financial and technical performance
- Support the sales invoicing process including review and sign-off of invoices ensuring they are compliant with contractual requirements as well as capturing all appropriate chargeable elements
- Support the Accounts Team to provide explanations of variances arising in Project financial performance
- Attend regular client meetings and present project progress reports
- Liaise with external stakeholders, for example Client management and regulatory bodies.
- Controlling and tracking projects against time and budget constraints
- Ensure all Operations targets and deliverables are met.
- Provide input and support in budget and forecasting throughout the year
- Review and approval of time writing
- Provide feedback to team members line manager, assisting in personal and professional development
- Support with technical proposals development for project scopes.

Work Experience
- Experience working with or for operators in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience or a strong desire to lead a project team and work collaboratively
Technical Skills
- Degree qualification in relevant engineering subject
- Ability to knowledge share across project teams
- Ability to engage, build and foster client relationships
- In depth knowledge on developing technical proposal documents
- Knowledge of CMMS systems and data requirements
- Experience creating and utilising Power Bi reporting
