AGR at NPF Reservoir and Production Management Conference 2026

Explore how fit-for-purpose reservoir management and production engineering can unlock value on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) at the NPF conference in Stavanger.

AGR’s Reservoir Management and Subsurface team will be attending this year’s NPF Reservoir and Production Management Conference in Stavanger.

Bringing together deep expertise, practical experience, and integrated services, we support operators and license holders on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) in progressing projects from exploration through to first production.

The conference will focus on unlocking maximum value from remaining resources, with particular attention to improved production, reservoir management, and marginal field development. These topics address the increasing importance of managing subsurface uncertainty while identifying viable pathways for developing smaller and more complex fields.

We invite you to meet our team and explore what’s in store for the programme. We are proud that our colleague Gudmund Olsen, Manager Reservoir Engineering, is a member of the Programme Committee.

Don’t miss our keynote presentation by Mahmood Akbar (Advisor Reservoir Engineering) on fit-for-purpose forecasting, and Lone Olstad, VP Subsurface, who will share how AGR supports critical decision gates, helping projects move efficiently from prospect evaluation to first production.

Supporting value creation on the NCS

AGR brings nearly 40 years of operational expertise as an independent, multidisciplinary consultancy. We combine capabilities across a wide range of technical disciplines, enabling us to support subsea and well developments efficiently, even within accelerated timelines.

How can AGR support the development of marginal fields and help maximise value from reserves and resources on the NCS?

  • A highly reputable geoscience (G&G) team covering multiple disciplines, with experience from delivering more than 1,700 studies
  • Wells and drilling engineering expertise gained from more than 680 wells and over 500 wells engineered
  • Marine and subsea solutions supported by fit-for-purpose assets, equipment, and a team with 20 years of joint operational experience
  • Reservoir and production engineering expertise, including flow assurance, with experience from the majority of fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
With support from our sister companies ABL (The marine and energy consultants) and Longitude (The design and engineering consultants), we are well positioned to enable continued petroleum production on the Norwegian Continental Shelf through to 2050.
