Senior Completions Supervisor – Development Drilling Campaign – Myanmar
Start Date: May 2026
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Location: Offshore Myanmar
Travel: Business class flights provided for flights exceeding 6 hours from point of origin to Yangon.
Key Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years offshore oil & gas experience
- Subsea completions experience in 125–1,000 m water depth
Mandatory:
-
- Horizontal well open-hole gravel pack operations
- Upper completions with subsea horizontal trees
- Hydrostatic production packers
- Well test operations
- Coiled tubing interventions (semi-sub)
- Wireline & slickline operations
Advantageous Experience:
-
- Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) with gravel pack
- Open-hole gravel packing using non-aqueous drill-in fluids
- Nitrogen pumping operations
Certifications Required:
- IWCF Level 4 – Well Intervention Pressure Control
- BOSIET with CA‑EBS
- OGUK Offshore Medical
Responsibilities Overview:
Planning Phase:
- Provide input for operational procedures and SIT planning
- Prepare SIDs (Standing Instructions to Drillers)
- Manage and supervise contractor activities, sub-assembly make-up, QA/QC
- Produce HAZOP/HAZID assessments, risk registers, and H₂S tables
Implementation (Offshore):
- Supervise all offshore completion operations
- Oversee installation and service company activities
- Participate in daily operational meetings
- Prepare completion daily reports
- Ensure hazards are managed and deviations communicated
- Coordinate daily plans with Company Rep and rig personnel
Continuous Improvement:
Capture lessons learned and integrate into subsequent wells.
