Meet Brad Parker – Leading safe and smart Well Interventions on Australia’s Offshore Platforms

Brad leads our Platform Well Intervention team supporting Woodside, and his day rarely looks the same. One day it’s designing and implementing intervention programs to bring aging wells back to life; the next, it’s troubleshooting complex downhole equipment or coordinating logistics to get critical kit offshore in time.

At the heart of it all is one goal: safe, efficient, and value-driven intervention operations.

Brad’s responsibilities are broad and hands-on—managing permits through ISSOW, actioning work-orders in SAP, liaising with vendors, and ensuring equipment meets the highest standards. He works closely with platform staff and leads integration with WEL’s operations, all while upholding Woodside’s safety-first culture.

But what truly sets Brad apart is how he and his team approach the bigger challenge: aging wells.

For them, every intervention is a chance to extend productivity, reduce risks, and prepare for the early decommissioning.

Here’s how they do it:
