• Senior Well Intervention Engineer with Coiled Tubing and/or Wireline Experience
• Company aims to be the exploration and production company of the future by transforming the way we work and operate. We are setting new standards by focusing on safe production and low emissions in the oil and gas industry.
• This position is part of the Intervention and Stimulation Alliance in the Drilling & Wells department. We have the responsibility for planning safe and cost-efficient wireline, coiled tubing, and pumping operations. The successful candidate will act as a project manager to deliver these well intervention operations consistent with Company HSSE policy and regulatory requirements.

Typical work tasks can be:

• Lead job planning, perform risk assessments, provide technical support, and ensure proper experience transfer within well intervention projects including CT, WL, and pumping operations.
• Support the well intervention team throughout the project by monitoring activities, identifying and handling non-conformances/management of change, establishing efficient lines of communication and promoting consistent distribution of information with all stakeholders in the project.
• Actively use Alliance partners, digitalization, Lean and flexible business models as tools to improve planning.
• Keep updated about new equipment and new working techniques, and ascertain implementation of this when necessary for the accomplishment of cost-efficient wells
• Drive for continuous improvement to support Company’s transformation agenda for more efficient and effective interventions by actively seeking new improvements, taking ownership of and executing initiatives, and being an active user of digital tools

Skills and qualifications:

• Masters degree in Engineering or similar. Relevant hands-on experience may compensate for education.
• More than 5 years experience within well interventions (preferably wireline and/or coiled tubing)
• Good interpersonal skills, open and transparent communication
• Project manager, ability to coach and lead others
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Norwegian competency a benefit
• Transformation driver who seeks to use digital tools and data for continuous improvements

Location(s):

• Stavanger preferred, Oslo or Trondheim may be possible with some travel to Stavanger expected. May have opportunity to travel offshore.
