Ross Offshore has signed an agreement with Solstad Offshore for the hire of the CSV Normand Maximus, marking the start of a multi-client subsea campaign.
As the largest subsea construction vessel (CSV) in its segment, the Normand Maximus offers us exceptional flexibility and the ability to take on diverse subsea scopes on behalf of our clients. The vessel is chartered and will be deployed across both the Norwegian and British offshore sectors, supporting a range of subsea work for various clients.
With increasing activity, our Marine & Survey Management business unit have solidified its position as a key charterer in the offshore segment, offering enhanced competence and capacity. Our Vessel Management Model provides significant value to our clients by offering a flexible and cost-effective solution for subsea services, especially for IMR projects. The 178-meter-long Normand Maximus is equipped with a 900t AHC crane, 550t VLS, and can accommodate up to 180 people. It stands as the largest vessel in Solstad Offshore’s fleet, making it a formidable asset for offshore operations.
