Windfarm project highlights
Location: UK, Norway
Sector: Renewables
Assets: 402MW offshore wind farm and 67 6MW wind turbine generators
Our client is an international energy company with operations in 30 countries worldwide. This project focused on enhancing the existing 402MW wind energy generating capacity in the North Sea.
The challenge
The client was awarded an Agreement for Lease and plans to get approvals to enhance the existing 402MW wind energy generating capacity in the North Sea.
Lack of developed talent pool
Given the wind farm location in the North Sea, the local talent pool is fierce and predominantly focused on the upstream offshore oil and gas sector. Consequently, the search for suitable candidates necessitated considering individuals from other regions with transferable skills.
Our recruitment solution
Our clients in the wind energy sector rely on our swift and proactive approach to assemble successful project teams.
Thanks to our extensive search and comprehensive screening process, we were able to source people who perfectly matched the project’s unique needs.
Our approach is unequivocal: we will not place a consultant or permanent member of staff in a client organisation that we would not employ ourselves.
The results
We appointed a dedicated and highly experienced civil engineering skills to enhance the performance of our client’s project.
Their support enabled the Client to pursue their ambitions and advance with the extension of the existing wind farm in the North Sea.
Additionally, our consultants contributed to securing the Development Consent Order (DCO) for the project.
