As part of the client’s field development plans, we supported the Drilling and Completion team with their well engineering services for the successful delivery of a new subsea big bore gas well.
What we did
- Successfully unloaded and hooked up to the subsea infrastructure
- Managed the planning and preparation of the operation
- Assured operations were carried in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner in line with Woodside’s processes and procedures
- Provided a high level of HSE leadership throughout the operation
- Coordinated and supervised System Integration testing
- Prepared detailed guidelines and well acceptance criteria
- Developed and delivered contingency plans
- Tubing stress analysis
- Asset Integrity assessment of field life extension
- Quality and control support for the drilling and completion department
- Delivered the upper completion design for oil producers and water injectors, including but not limited to:
- Tubing Stress Analysis
- Torque and drag analysis
- Equipment selection
- Horizontal XMT interface
- Provided well construction planning, including but not limited to:
- Equipment selection
- Installation planning, including working with vendors to identify optimization opportunities
- LAH / cost estimate development and review
