The project was in Kurdistan and personnel had to have experience with land-based projects.

Targeted a select number of companies where we might find the right calibre of candidates, specifically targeting Middle Eastern operators.
Data-Mining
AGR Consultancy has a database of more than 9,000 candidates in Well Engineering and its related disciplines. We also subscribe to a number of industry-specific recruitment databases. These were rigorously searched to supplement the long list generated by our comprehensive headhunting activity.
The Result
- Complete drilling-project team recruited by AGR Consultancy
- In-country team consisted of Drilling Superintendents, Senior and Night Drilling Supervisors, Materials and Logistics Coordinators, Well Test Supervisors and HSE Advisors. All personnel sourced from various countries around the world and selected for their skill sets and experience
- The first exploration well spudded in 2010 and a final drilling depth of 4190m was achieved. Testing of the five drill stems was completed in 2011
- Several members of the team secured further work through AGR Consultancy thanks to the success of this project. The new project was with another operator in the region.
