Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison was appointed EVP of Safety & Risk Engineering in 2012 following an extensive period as a Principal Crisis & Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Security Advisor to the Oil, Gas, Energy and Maritime Industries. In the period before joining AGR (Add Energy), Jim successfully held commercial positions as National Manager, General Manager and Executive Director of various organisations. His formal qualifications extend to accreditations in Strategic Management, Executive Leadership, Emergency Management, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Command and Control, and Change Management. Jim has a comprehensive background and demonstrable success as a leader in crisis & emergency management, OHS, strategic security, risk management and counter-terrorism, following a distinguished Police career as a commissioned officer, and more recently commercially as a Security Advisor (for critical infrastructure, aviation and maritime assets) and an Investigator (for workplace accident investigations). He has also worked within the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department as a senior Counter Terrorism Advisor.
