2 .What does your day-to-day look like at AGR?

I arrive at the office early in the morning, make coffee and have a brief coffee break with my colleagues. Then, I join the daily morning call with the marine and survey team. My position is dynamic and varied, involving project follow-ups, cost control, and responsibility for the Vessel Traffic Evaluation Reports (VTER).

3. What made you pick a career in energy?

My career in the energy sector began quite coincidentally. Curious about the consulting field, I reached out to a recruitment agency. My first assignment was with a company in the oil and gas industry, and now, I have 27 years’ extensive experience in the energy sector.

4. Tell us a bit about your career development at AGR

I started as a Logistics Coordinator, and after a few months, I became the discipline lead for the logistics department. Additionally, I was entrusted with establishing and managing a helicopter booking centre. Currently, I am the Project Coordinator for the marine and survey operations.

5 .Can you tell us about something exciting you are working on right now?

I am currently working on a VTER for a client and have just delivered another VTER to different client.

6. What does AGR do to enable your professional advancement and work-life balance?

At AGR, I have been entrusted with challenging tasks that have allowed me to grow both professionally and personally, for which I am very grateful. Flexitime is a welcome benefit, contributing to a good work-live balance.

7. What does the future look like in energy and oceans?

I am optimistic about the future, and the transition to the use of renewable energy is a necessity. I believe that innovative technology plays a crucial role in shaping a more sustainable future. For example, the oceans have a significant source of energy, wave power. Development of technology to utilize this power can make an important contribution to the global shift towards sustainable energy.
