Senior HPHT Drilling Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning and design work for clients drilling campaign
2. Perform drilling engineering services in the well project to accomplish the stablished objectives and plans
3. Part of Operations Team (OP Team) during Drilling Operation
4. Collaborate with subsurface to finalize the drilling concepts and finalize the main drilling program
5. Key contributor for well cost, ensure delivering of drilling operation on time and budget
6. Core task to follow up: Well path design (Compass), Casing Design (WellCAT), Directional drilling and wellbore positioning equipment, Material technology, Downhole understanding, Logging, Rock mechanics, Capping and containment, Pore pressure and wellbore stability, Well Integrity, Well incident and blowout preparedness, Well control equipment and systems, Kick tolerance software, Fluids, Cementing, Wellbore cleanup, Torque/drag/hydraulics (Wellplan) Risk management, Time and cost estimation (deterministic and probabilistic).
7. Support and advice on daily tasks for other Drilling Engineers and Supervisors in the team
8. Offshore traveling on request
9. Preparation of End of Well Reports, ensuring that best practices and lessons learned are captured, shared, documented, and followed up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: HPHT Production Wells W/ high-angle background in Design, Planning and Execution
• Good understanding of geology and subsea considerations
• Experienced with Well Engineering software Oliasoft and other software’s like Qx and WellBarrier
• Experienced with Semi-sub operations
• NCS experience drilling Haltenbanken
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience

Other/ Candidate’s profile:

HPHT experience – Must have proven, extensive experience in HPHT, supported by references to relevant projects.

Valid IWCF certificate
