Description

• Assist Project lead with well planning and design
• Ensure well design and operations comply with clients management system (BMS) and regulatory requirements
• Develop and manage Risk Register and provide input for risk assessment and mitigation plans
• Coordinate and review documents as per D&W Approval Matrix
• Define applicable well barrier requirements
• Collect, analyze and investigate lessons learned from offset wells/rigs to improve operational performance
• Perform planned and ad-hoc simulations through applications and wells engineering software (Landmark EDT/WellCat/WellPlan/Stresscheck)
• Assist in method, tool & equipment selection
• Assist in cost modeling – quote/invoice/overview
• Develop and deliver time estimate
• Prepare Rig Action Plans. Conduct onshore RAP meetings
• Provide technical support during drilling operations
• Monitor and analyze operational progress against plans and follow up on significant problems with corrective actions
• Participate in drilling engineering onshore duty work, if/when applicable
• Document lessons learned
• Ensure relevant well documentation is appropriately stored
• Assist with well handover documentation
• Consult with team prior to decide any change in plans (all phases)
• Contribute with input to completions for well integrity design
• Conduct DWOP, PA / PR and AAR
• Communicate with subsea regarding wellhead/conductor design/requirements and wellhead fatigue analysis
• Follow up summer interns and graduate engineers (if required)
• QC input to Kabal from vendors

Education

• Master deree or equivalent

Experience

• 7+ with Operator
