Description about project/department:

EPN PSS is accountable for delivering all subsea tie‑back projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and all topside modification projects globally. In addition, PSS is accountable for all decommissioning scope on the NCS and for subsea technical integrity, maintenance and modification projects globally.

Description about task and responsibilities:

Key activities include:

• Concept and project development
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements
• Tendering and evaluation activities
• Preparing of technical documents for project sanction, studies and contract tendering
• Contractor follow-up in project execution The Subsea Umbilical and Cable Project Engineer is a member of the Subsea Production System (SPS) team / SURF Management team and reports to the SPS Lead/Manager and is responsible for all planning, engineering and fabrication work to be performed for the Subsea Umbilical and Cable in accordance with clients and Project governing documentation, best practices and applicable rules and regulations requirements.

Competence Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree
• In-depth knowlegde of subsea umbilical systems including DCFO
• Experience with project development
• Experience with follow-up of engineering and subsea contractors
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
