Job description:

  • Be responsible for maintaining an overview of and allocating workload within the completion team.
  • Have responsibility for the overall project plans within a drilling and wells team (e.g. drilling schedules, timelines, and critical deadlines for long lead item deliveries).
  • Have overall responsibility for completion design, ensuring fulfillment of well objectives and compliance with applicable regulations and company management systems.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders during planning and execution phases to align workload, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Investigate and follow up equipment failures or performance deficiencies, ensuring lessons learned are documented and shared as appropriate, including evaluation of cost impact and recommendations for corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Follow up and perform QA/QC of supplier services, studies, and equipment deliveries on a contractual level.
  • Act as a senior engineer with broad experience, strong technical expertise, and a solid conceptual understanding of completion operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations as a subject matter expert within the discipline.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years relevant experience from Operators on NCS and detailed knowledge in completion engineering discipline
  • Master’s degree in petroleum engineering or alternative engineering disciplines required.
