HSE Auditor (Contract) – WA | August Engagement

AGR has partnered with a leading energy company to engage an experienced HSE Auditor for an upcoming MHS audit engagement in Western Australia.

This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to work within a well-structured audit framework, supported on-site by company representatives, and contribute to ensuring compliance with WA WHS legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a 2-day on-site MHS audit
• Review policies and procedures against the WA WHS Act and relevant regulations
• Assess systems operating under global safety management framework
• Complete evidence collation and reporting (1 additional day)
• Utilise a standardised audit template to ensure consistent data capture and scoring

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who bring:

• Demonstrated experience in MHS / HSE auditing
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in energy, renewables, or similar operational environments highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and provide an objective assessment

Ideal Candidate

• Based in Western Australia (preferred to minimise travel and mobilisation)
• Able to provide a fresh, independent perspective
• Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting capability

• A structured audit template and methodology will be provided
