Environment Advisor

We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to support activities within the environmental discipline.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations.

Main Tasks

• Provide environmental support to operational activities and projects
• Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
• Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
• Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
• Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Relevant higher university degree
• Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and European regulations and standards
• High level of expertise and a thorough understanding of oil and gas industry practices, environmental requirements, and general business conditions
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken
• Valid offshore safety course (GSK) is preferred
