We were excited to be participating in the Africa Energies Summit last week in London focused on African energy sector! The event, held on May 14-15 and organised by Frontier Energy Network brought together industry peers and energy companies operating in Africa to discuss the latest trends and share knowledge on enhancing efficiency and safety in drilling operations.
Andy Perchard, our Managing Director for Australia, represented AGR at the event, engaging in insightful discussions with industry leaders. “Our presence at the Africa Energies Summit event underscores our commitment to contributing to Africa’s energy sector by sharing our extensive experience and expertise,” said Perchard.

We are currently preparing for an exciting drilling project on the Atum-1X well offshore Guinea Bissau, on behalf of Apus Energy. This project will utilize the Ocean BlackRhino drill ship, further demonstrating our capability in managing complex drilling operations.
