For the past two decades, our Software division has been developing and delivering software applications for the global energy industry with clients ranging from small engineering consultancies to large multinational energy companies.

Our iQx team is a group of 20 dedicated professionals working within divisions covering sales, software development and implementation. AGR Software strives to be the trusted partner for our clients helping them accelerate their digitisation goals to meet both today’s and tomorrow’s energy challenges.

To further strengthen iQx™ team and meet increasing demand for our SaaS delivered software applications, we are looking for a Technical Sales Advisor who will become a valued member of AGR Software sales team.

Our ideal candidate:

Based in Stavanger, you will complement our energetic and dynamic working environment having a key role in proactively strengthening existing client relationships and building new ones through your established client network. You will have a strong work ethic and proven track record of commitment, high productivity and delivery of team goals and revenue forecasts.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

  • BSc/MSc in business or engineering
  • Minimum 3 years in a business development role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Norwegian language would be considered positive but not a requirement
  • Experience of selling software to the energy industry and/or experience with online marketing would be an advantage

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify local and international leads for software products and mature them into sales in close collaboration with your sales manager and other team members
  • Deliver sales presentations online or in clients’ offices in collaboration with our implementation team where required
  • Attending and presenting AGR Software at conferences in Norway and internationally
  • Key account management (commercial) for AGR Software’s clients in Stavanger
