Offshore HSE Coaches

Experienced Offshore HSE Coaches sought for an upcoming jack-up drilling campaign in East Asia. The successful candidates will play a critical role in promoting a strong HSE culture, ensuring compliance with company and contractor HSE standards, and providing on-site coaching and mentoring to rig personnel.

The project involves two appraisal wells and a well test and is scheduled to commence in June 2026. Campaign duration ~6 mths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching & Mentoring: Provide on-site guidance to rig crews on HSE procedures, best practices, and Stop Job Authority.
• Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular hazard hunts, rig inspections, and HSE audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• HSEMS Support: Assist the HSE Engineer in implementing and maintaining the project’s HSE Management System.
• Risk Management:
  • Participate in campaign, well, and operational risk assessments.
  • Ensure all HSE controls in risk assessments and programs are in place and effective.
  • Monitor SIMOPs activities and high-risk work planning/execution.
• Incident Management: Support investigations at the wellsite and assist with corrective actions.
• Emergency Preparedness: Ensure drills are conducted, documented, and response times recorded.
• Compliance & Reporting:
  • Verify operations comply with company HSE standards.
  • Provide HSE inputs for Daily Drilling Reports and produce HSE statistics.
  • Manage implementation of HSE initiatives (e.g., Stop Cards).
• Engagement: Attend pre-job planning meetings, major Job Risk Assessments, and weekly safety meetings.
• Training & Documentation: Ensure toolbox talks, training sessions, and drills meet project requirements and gather evidence for compliance.

Essential Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in offshore drilling, particularly with jack-up rigs.
