Purpose

The role is needed to maintain continuity in technical support, maintenance of critical data flows and reporting, cleanup, and documentation of existing subsurface-related applications, scripts, and integrations. The scope includes data exchanges, Python, Visual Basic, Petrel integration, Oracle, Snowflake-related data flows, and improvement of legacy solutions to make them more supportable and less person dependent. We intend to evaluate the long-term permanent solution, but require a contractor in the interim to reduce operational risk and maintain critical business support.

Business Need

• Day-to-day technical support, maintenance, cleanup, and documentation of existing subsurface-related applications, scripts, and integrations. The role supports business-critical tools and data flows and reduces risk related to person dependency and legacy solutions.

Main Scope

• Support and maintain existing applications, scripts, and integrations
• Work with Python, Visual Basic, Petrel integration, Oracle, and Snowflake-related data flows
• Troubleshoot, clean up, and improve legacy scripts and technical workflows
• Document solutions and improve supportability
• Provide hands-on technical support for business-critical tools

Candidate Profile 

• Good scripting/programming skills in Python and Visual Basic
• Experience with Petrel integration and database-related workflows, or simila
• Understanding of Oracle and Snowflake connectors / integrations
• Quick learner with strong learning agility
• Motivated to improve, document, and stabilize legacy solutions
