Job Purpose

Providing professional support and advice ensuring that the project follows Company requirements and industry best practice in HSE matters.

Main Accountabilities

• Implement and maintain the project HSE acitivity plans and continually monitor, update and communicate the plan
• Contribute to the project meeting project objectives, regulatory and requirements and appropriate industry standards

Main Tasks

• Supporting commissioning activities
• Identification of project HSE requirements
• Identification of HSE risk and opportunities
• Prepare and implement HSE activity plans
• Ensure that HSE risk assessments are adequately and timely carried out
• Ensure follow up of HAZID, HAZOPs and other risk assessments
• Ensure that verification activities are duly planned and carried out
• Participate in audits and inspections
• Prepare reports on HSE performance
• Follow up of HSE incidents incl. investigations
• Participate and drive cross discipline HSE initiatives
• Participate in procurement and tendering activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
• Assess implementation of contractors’ management system
• HSE follow up of contractor
• Support handling of nonconformities and deviations
• Support Emergency preparedness
• Support security assessments, preparation of project security plan and follow-up of security mitigating measures
• Give professional support and advice to project personnel
• Coordinate and liase with project Safety & Sustainability team

Formal Education

• Bachelorgrad eller Cand. Mag (180-240 studiepoeng) or other relevant education
• Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
