Purpose of position/ general
responsibility

• Geoscientist to support New Business Opportunities.
• Main tasks include participation in datarooms, perform volumetric and risk assessments and provide geological input to
  notional development plans

Tasks

• Attendance of datarooms and lead G&G work for BD opportunities
• Identifying and evaluate prospects, volume and risk assessment
• Volumetrics assessment of existing fields including log evaluation
• Seismic interpretation (2D & 3D), QC and structural interpretation/validation for volumetric assessment
• QA/QC of reservoir quality and deliverability
• Prepare the opportunities for internal and external peer reviews/QC sessions.

Formal education

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience
• Master’s degree within geology/geophysics/geoscience

Professional experience

• All round generalist geoscientist with experience in supporting New Business activities
• Experienced of hydrocarbon prospect volume and risk assessment
• Experience from working in a cross-disciplinary team
• International experience, preferably in MENA region, North and West Africa and Europe

• Fluent in written and spoken English
