Our Consultancy division has announced that it is to grow and expand the range of staffing and recruiting services as well as establish a new office in Norway’s capital, Oslo. The news is in recognition of the increased number of oil & gas and renewables projects that have recently been given the go ahead.
AGR Consultancy already has a global network of offices in Stavanger, Aberdeen and Perth and collaborates with associated partners in all main global energy hubs.
The specialist recruitment division forms an important part of our Norwegian services portfolio. By establishing a presence in Oslo, the aim is to provide tailored staffing and headhunting solutions within IT but also introduce engineering talent to the renewables, transport, and other sectors.
AGR Consultancy is the largest workforce agency within oil and gas sector, providing contract, temporary and outsourced consultants for almost all operators in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The business has grown significantly during the last two-three years owing its success in the provision of high calibre specialist workforce in drilling and well management as well as providing people in admin and support functions, such as finance, supply chain and HSEQ.
This success story has continued into renewable energy where the division sees huge potential for growth and market share over the next three years. Recent contracts have been signed with Aker Carbon Capture and FREYR Battery.
AGR Consultancy has also hired a new Recruitment Manager for its Oslo office – Veronica Yri – to take the lead in future growth and business development. Veronica has wide expertise in staffing and recruiting with a special focus on IT.
Her tasks will involve developing a collaborative network with consultants who can both provide services in specialist areas where AGR already has a strong position, as well as providing talent to new customer segments where AGR aims to be the preferred solutions provider of IT talent. In addition, she will manage the establishment of a business line in headhunting.
