Ewan Martin

Ewan, tell us a bit about your career development at AGR

I was initially employed as a trainee drilling engineer. This entailed working with well engineering teams onshore in Aberdeen and offshore as a well site engineer, while I learnt the job.

Over the past four years or so, I have spent considerable time planning and executing various wells and projects for a number of clients in Aberdeen. This has also included time spent seconded to an Aberdeen-based operator, as lead engineer for their exploration drilling programme.

Carolina Perez-Garcia, PhD

Carolina is an Exploration Geoscientist at our Oslo office...

As exploration geoscientist, Carolina assists our clients in concession rounds regarding seismic interpretation, prospect evaluation, volume calculation and risk assessment. As member of our Reservoir Management team she also participates in data rooms and develops multi-client studies on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Carolina says she especially likes the multi-cultural environment at AGR and the wide variety of projects she can utilise her previous skills on.

Yngve F. Johansen

Prior to joining, he had gained extensive experience developing software at Sense Intellifield, an innovative supplier of e-field technologies; where he and his team worked with both industry known software SiteCom as well as Discovery Web programmes.

Tell us a bit about your career development at AGR.

Prior to joining AGR, I was a Wellsite Geologist with another energy consultancy. I joined AGR, as I wanted to continue in this particular type of work on a permanent contract with more variety in terms of clients and projects. My job at AGR has enabled me to work with a wide range of clients, offering a wide variety of hydrocarbon fields and projects, which have greatly enhanced my experience.

Daria Krasova

Daria always wanted to work in a service company. She wanted to be in fast paced environment that challenged and broadened her professional skillset. Over the course of her career, Daria has gained proven experience in Rock physics, Modelling, Interpretation, Seismic data processing for license application rounds, redeterminations – and has worked on exploration projects large and small, on local and regional levels, and with data sets from across the globe.

At present, she specialises in velocity modelling and depth conversion on our hiQbe™ team.

Minna Harrington

Minna was previously employed by AGR from 2006 to 2007, but left to travel the world and work overseas. She then re-joined the Finance team in May 2012. Minna was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work in Equatorial Guinea (Africa) for a few months with AGR which she describes as a great experience, allowing her to see the full operational side of drilling and to visit the rig to see how it all works.

Minna enjoys the social environment at AGR and the work/life balance that is promoted within the company. She is always happy to put her hand up for any social event.
